With a diverse knowledge in the principles of architecture, urban design, and sustainable building practices, you will have the opportunity to show leadership in planning public buildings and civic facilities that support the vision of a great and sustainable mid-sized City.
Broad experience in architecture and the built environment, facilities planning, urban design, and sustainable building practices will be important in the planning of civic buildings and spaces that support the City vision. You will lead projects through planning and design phases in a wide spectrum of building types, including civic offices, fire, police and utility services, recreation amenities, heritage properties and urban planning.
You should have a minimum of five years’ experience following your post-graduate degree, and registered, or eligible for registration, with the AIBC as an architect (preferred), or intern architect. You should also demonstrate exemplary professional, technical and leadership skills that allow you to lead teams, foster collaboration and effectively resolve problems or conflicts with stakeholders to deliver excellent service and projects that benefit the public and community.
