Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Deputy Chief Project Officer to join the team.
The Deputy Chief Project Officer plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing major capital redevelopment projects for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Reporting to the Chief Project Officer (CPO), the role works closely with the CPO to provide strategic leadership, ensure successful project delivery, and liaise with key external and internal partners and governance committees. Applies expertise in project management, partner engagement, and navigating governance frameworks, and is instrumental in driving the successful execution of major capital redevelopment initiatives. Supports the CPO in the development of strategic and tactical planning and the co-management of governance and performance accountabilities. As a Deputy Chief Project Officer with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:

Collaborate closely with the CPO to develop and implement project management strategies specifically tailored to major site redevelopment and new build projects. Establishes project goals and objectives that align with organizational priorities and ensures the successful execution of these initiatives.
Oversee and manages major site redevelopment and new build projects from initiation to completion. Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards. Monitors project progress, identifies potential risks and issues, and proactively implements mitigation measures.
Support the CPO in the effective and timely identification of accountabilities as set out in the Project Agreement (for example Design Build/Agreement or Alliance Agreement). Considers a wide range of project-specific risk and opportunity scenarios to reach informed alignment on the types of risk and opportunity, ensures appropriate systems and processes are in place to review and approve requests for scope changes/adjustment events in consultation with Chief Project Officer, Chief Clinical Planner, and other internal/external partners.
Support the Chief Project Officer in reporting on project interdependencies, risks and issues; investigates, resolves and responds to Alliance obligations and applicable legal issues and standards with respect to elements such as procurement, design, construction, accreditation, environmental and occupational health and safety issues; presents reports to Project Steering Committee and senior executives.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams involved in major capital redevelopment projects. Fosters a collaborative and high-performance work environment, delegates tasks effectively, sets clear expectations, and monitors team performance to ensure timely and successful project execution. Qualifications

Education & Experience

Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, supplemented with ten (10) years' recent, related experience in a senior leadership role in a large complex health care organization with responsibility for leading teams and managing large, complex capital projects such as Design Bid Build (DBB), Design Build Finance (DBF), Design Build (DB) Construction Management (CM), P3 Projects, Strategic Competitive Alliance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens.

La firme s’illustre au Québec, au Canada et à l’international comme en témoignent ses nombreux prix et mentions en architecture et en design d’intérieur. Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche de candidats au poste de Technicien ou technologue en architecture pour nos bureaux de Saint-Hyacinthe ou Montréal, et ce, dans l’objectif de répondre à nos besoins grandissants.

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE – TECHNICIEN OU TECHNOLOGUE :
En lien avec la structure organisationnelle de l’entreprise, le Technicien ou technologue relève du Chargé d’exécution technique et du Chargé de projet. Vous participerez au développement de la réalisation technique du projet, et ce, en collaboration avec les autres collaborateurs appelés à travailler sur les mandats. Vous réaliserez des projets d’architecture dans les secteurs ; institutionnel, résidentiel à haute densité, commercial et de bureaux. Si vous êtes passionné de la technique et avez le souci du détail, ce poste est pour vous.

Rôle, tâches et responsabilités :

Établir et/ou coordonner avec le client le programme fonctionnel et technique (PFT);
Appuyer par le chargé d’exécution technique, coordonner la production des documents techniques;
Collaborer avec le chargé d’exécution technique pour la conception des détails techniques de construction;
Produire des rendus 3D;
Peut être appelé à assister et le surveillant de chantier durant la construction;
Effectuer de la recherche sur des produits et matériaux afin d’appuyer les architectes dans le choix de matériaux.

COMPÉTENCES ET EXIGENCES

Détenir un diplôme d’études collégiales Technologie de l’architecture ou un diplôme d’études professionnels en dessin de bâtiments;
Minimum 3 ans d’expérience au Québec comme Technicien ou technologue en architecture
Très grande autonomie
Bonne connaissance du Code du bâtiment
Très bonne maîtrise du logiciel Revit, expérience de travail de 2 ans minimum avec le logiciel;
Maîtrise des logiciels Autocad et des utilitaires de la Suite Microsoft Office;
Carte ASP Construction (atout);
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit;
Rigueur, sens du détail, sens des responsabilités et esprit d’équipe;
Habiletés à effectuer des tâches multiples simultanément, à gérer des priorités et échéanciers;
Curieux, passionné et à l’affût des tendances
