About the Network
The RAIC South Shore Network encompasses the federal electoral district of South Shore鈥擲t. Margaret's. The Network offers a series of monthly evening lectures and presentations at the Lunenburg School of the Arts;听which offers workshops led by professional art educators and working artists from their historic studio space in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.听
听
The public presentations by Network members and guests have included topics such as architectural restoration and restoration techniques, energy efficiency, history and culture, as well as profiles of specific architectural practice.听 After pausing for 2020, the Network is planning virtual lectures for Fall 2021, with a hopeful return to in-person presentations in 2022.听
听

**RAIC members are automatically members of their closest network.听We welcome non-RAIC members to attend a meeting to find out if they would like to be involved.

听offers workshops led by professional art educators and working artists. Our small and intimate class sizes allow students to work closely with instructors and each other, fostering self-expression in a supportive atmosphere. We offer courses in a wide variety of mediums, our programs encourage exploration, discovery and development of skills and ideas. We are located in the heart of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a hub for arts and music. With its historic townscape and a working waterfront, the Town of Lunenburg is our campus.听

RAIC Connects is a virtual community where members can share ideas, discuss practice challenges, post questions, read and share blog posts and news articles, learn about fellow RAIC members, and benefit from shared knowledge, resources, and information.
